The Moscow Center for Innovative Technologies in Healthcare, or Medtech. Moscow, was established at the initiative of the Mayor of Moscow in February 2022 to accelerate the development and integration of scientific innovations into clinical practice.

Here, Moscow physicians collaborate with scientists from leading Russian research institutions and startups to create new technologies and refine existing solutions for their rapid implementation in the city’s healthcare system. The Center supports scientific projects at every stage, including expert evaluation, patent protection, certification, regulatory approval, and the organization of serial production.

Key areas of focus include biotechnology, genetic and cellular technologies, the development of new materials and implants, 3D bioprinting, and artificial intelligence.

One of the central instruments for supporting innovative development is the Mayor of Moscow Grant Program, administered by Medtech since 2022.
Each year, more than 1 billion rubles are allocated for the development, testing, and implementation of advanced methods in diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation.

To date, 220 research projects have received support, some of which have been applied for the first time not only in Russia, but worldwide.

The company’s assortment includes over 500 product names, including import- substituting items: lactose, prebiotic lactulose, protein concentrates, etc. The enterprise employs over 20 PhD holders and maintains constant cooperation with the North Caucasus Federal University. Two high-tech production facility projects have already been implemented.
