According to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin 'On the national development goals of the Russian Federation up to 2030 and on the long-term vision up until 2036' dated May 7, 2024, by 2030 the Russian Federation should become one of the top 10 leading countries in the world when in comes to research and development progress, increase in half the share of domestic high-tech goods and services created in reliance on its own development lines, and achieve technological independence in key areas, including bioeconomy and medicine.
At the panel discussion, participants will discuss to what extent the Russian pharmaceutical industry is in fact ready to meet today's challenges within achieving these national goals, how to significantly increase the flow of innovation, and implement the full cycle of development and production of innovative life-saving drugs in our country, what technological and regulatory barriers need to be overcome to achieve technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation in the field of pharmaceutics.
The panel discussion will be facilitated and moderated by Andrey Aleksandrovich Ivashchenko, PhD, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ChemRar Group.
Participants and speakers will be reflecting on the following discussion topics:
