Registration for the III International Forum BIOPROM is now open on the event’s official website.
The Forum will be held on October 5–6 in Gelendzhik under the theme “Ecosystem of High Quality of Life.” BIOPROM 2026 will feature around 40 business program events, while the exhibition will occupy a 7,500-square-meter area.
Participants can register in the following categories: VIP Participant, offering maximum opportunities for business networking; Visitor, providing free access to the exhibition and all open business program events; and Media. The exhibition and business program will bring together government officials, executives of leading Russian and international companies, representatives of scientific and educational institutions, development institutions, and international experts.
Among the participants of BIOPROM 2026 are Rostec State Corporation, Nacimbio, Arnest UniRus, MedTech Moscow, Magnit, Gazprombank, PROMOMED, Sechenov University, Rosatom Science, SIBUR, Skolkovo Foundation, BIOTECHNO, Far Eastern Federal University, North-Caucasus Federal University, ChemRar, Generium, Petrovax Pharm, Ozon Pharmaceuticals, and other companies and organizations. The collective expositions of the Krasnodar Region and Ryazan Region will also be presented at the Forum.
The BIOPROM 2026 business program is being developed around the Forum’s central theme and will feature five thematic tracks: BIOECONOMY, BIOTECHMED, INNOFOOD, COSMETIC COMPONENT, and ECOBIO. They will address the development of pharmaceuticals, medical and biotechnological solutions, the food industry, environmental technologies, and the cosmetics sector.
The key event of the Forum will be the main strategic session, “Ecosystem of High Quality of Life,” featuring First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, heads of relevant ministries, executives of major companies, and international experts. The discussion will focus on the interconnectedness of public health and the quality of the environment, nutrition, emotional well-being, and the professional sphere, as well as on the development of the bioeconomy, preventive medicine, and pharmaceuticals. Participants will discuss the implementation of telemedicine, artificial intelligence, synthetic biology, and other advanced technologies.
Invited speakers at BIOPROM 2026 include Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation; Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; Oksana Lut, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation; Andrey Fursenko, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation; Mikhail Kovalchuk, President of the Kurchatov Institute; Gennady Krasnikov, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom State Corporation, as well as other representatives of government, business, and the scientific community.
Around 40 business program events will address the development of the next generation of biotechnologies, investment in the bioeconomy, advanced fuels for aviation and maritime transport, the use of data in biotechnology, scaling innovations from the laboratory to the market, intellectual property protection in the pharmaceutical industry, and other key issues.
Participants will also discuss personalized medicine, the integration of Russian medical biotechnology into global markets, the development of dietary supplements and specialized nutrition, technological leadership in infant and clinical nutrition, the halal industry, health management, and the integration of biological technologies into the chemical industry, among other topics.
A separate session will focus on the results of the Pharma-2030 Strategy and priorities for the development of the pharmaceutical industry in 2027–2030.
“This year, we decided to focus specifically on intellectual property protection. It is important for us to have an in-depth discussion of issues related to Russian patent law, as these matters are highly relevant for companies developing innovative products and technologies. During the dedicated session, we will analyze the latest statistics on patent infringement, as well as discuss the challenges faced by innovative pharmaceutical companies and ways to overcome them,” said Vadim Kukava, Executive Director of the Association of Pharmaceutical Companies “Inpharma,” in a comment to the BIOPROM press service.
BIOPROM participants are also focused on the regulatory environment in the pharmaceutical industry, government support, production localization, and reducing dependence on foreign pharmaceutical markets.
As Dmitry Titov, Deputy CEO of Ozon Pharmaceuticals, noted, the industry needs a platform where businesses can align their interests with government priorities related to the price and physical accessibility of medicines, reduce dependence on foreign pharmaceutical markets, and optimize regulatory procedures.
