President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a greeting to the participants, organizers, and guests of the 2nd International Forum “BIOPROM: Industry and Technology for Humans”, held in Gelendzhik. In his message published on the Kremlin website, the head of state emphasized the importance of the forum for the development of the domestic bioindustry and the widespread introduction of advanced technologies in various spheres of life.
“Today, the development of life sciences and related applied fields largely determines people’s health and their environmental well-being. I mean the widespread introduction of advanced technologies in medicine, agriculture, and the area of the country’s food security,” stressed Vladimir Putin.
The President also noted the strong support given to the forum’s initiative and expressed confidence that “Gelendzhik Arena” would become an effective platform for interaction among representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, scientific and educational institutions, expert and business circles.
Putin also pointed out the importance of the new national project “Technological Support of the Bioeconomy,” aimed at uniting the efforts of government, business, and science to create innovative products, localize full-cycle production, and train qualified personnel for the bioindustry.
