'Magnit', Russia's largest retailer per the number of retail stores, will address the changes to the food industry as a whole and to the segment of ready-to-eat food in particular, at INNOFOOD, the International Forum of innovative technologies in the food industry and agriculture scheduled to be held in Gelendzhik on October 7-8. The talk will focus on the changes inflicted by the growing demands of new consumer generations and the rise of the new technologies. The retailer has been the leading partner of INNOFOOD for the three consecutive years, since the first forum of 2022. This year, INNOFOOD will become a thematic track to the BIOPROM International Forum, an even larger event in the field of biotechnology.
As part of the forum business program, Anna Meleshina, the Managing Director of 'Magnit', will partake in the key forecast session 'Living to the Age of 120: Technology for Humans' on October 7, where she will talk about the rising correlation between nutrition and active longevity and the quest for balance between taste and health benefits. This trend is already noticeable and is reflected even in such segments as snacks and ready-to-eat food.
On Tuesday, October 8, the forum will feature a session titled 'All Set: Ready-to-Eat as the Food of the Future”, organized by 'Magnit' as well. The session participants will discuss the role of ready-to-eat food in the lives of the consumer of the future. Every year, influenced by the dynamic pace of life, the population's interest in the ready-to-eat segment is growing, and we can see the young audience forming and taking interest in the segment as well.
The INNOFOOD forum exposition will showcase Magnit's exhibit installation addressing the role of ready-to-eat trend in the life of a consumer: a bold letter M with a built-in LED screen showing the relatable videocontent and featuring various game-design techniques. The Forum's visitors will learn how much time 'Magnit' customers manage to save on cooking and how much ready-to-eat food is sold overall in the retail chain's stores.
