BIOPROM to Present Startup Alley Featuring Innovative Solutions in Biotechnology, Medicine and Food Technology

The BIOPROM International Forum will feature the “Startup Alley” as a dedicated exhibition area — a special project designed to support and promote the development of emerging startups in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medicine, environmental technologies, as well as technologies for the food industry and agriculture.

The exhibition will showcase innovative solutions developed by young companies and projects working to advance human health, industry and environmental technologies. Among the projects on display will be bio-leather products, a line of skin recovery and care products based on components derived from extremophilic microorganisms, diagnostic test systems for Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis, a range of biomedical and food products based on a technology for modifying the supramolecular conformation of organic substances, freeze-dried products, and other innovative solutions.

Participants in the Startup Alley will have an opportunity not only to present their solutions to a professional audience, but also to explore new opportunities for further development. Startup representatives will take part in the dedicated “BIOPROM Startup and Young Projects Pitch Session,” where they will present their solutions to a panel of experts.

The pitch session will allow emerging projects to receive expert feedback and present their solutions directly to potential partners. Participants will also have an opportunity to meet representatives of venture capital funds, industrial companies and research centers, find partners and potential customers, and discuss opportunities for further development of their projects.

Thus, the Startup Alley will serve as a platform for discovering promising new technologies and fostering business and technology connections between emerging projects, businesses, investors and the research community.
